Connect to ANSVIS Server
To connect to the ANSVIS Server, launch the ANSVIS Client. You will be prompted to select a server to connect to.
We offer several recommended options tailored to your deployment environments .
Option 1: ANSVIS Client and ANSVIS Server running on separate devices (recommended)
Deploying ANSVIS in production environments requires the ANSVIS Servers to run 24/7, likely in a fixed location. Therefore, we recommend you have dedicated devices installed with the ANSVIS Servers and another device (such as your laptop) installed with the ANSVIS Client; therefore, you will have more flexibility and mobility to connect and manage different servers through the ANSVIS Client.
To connect to different ANSVIS servers in your network:
- Press Search Additional Server or enter the Server Address manually.
- Once the connection is successful, the new server will be listed in the Server List
- Select the server from the Server list and press Continue to connect to that server
Option 2: ANSVIS Client and ANSVIS Server running on the same device
This option is feasible if you're required to interact with the ANSVIS Server on the same device.
To connect to the ANSVIS servers on current device:
- Choose "Localhost" from the Server List
- Press Continue to connect to the local host server
Option 3: ANSVIS Client only (testing purpose)
If you don't have the ANSVIS Server installed, the ANSVIS Client can start a localhost on the current device, simulating as ANSVIS Server
But keep in mind that, once you close ANSVIS Client, the ANSVIS Server simulation will be closed as well. Therefore, this option is recommended for testing only.
To start the simulation on the current device:
- Choose "Localhost" from the Server List
- Press Continue to connect to the local host server
Manage and switch between ANSVIS Servers
You will be able to add or remove servers later via Setting (1)>Manage Servers (2)
All connectable servers will be listed in the Server list, and you can switch between servers using the server drop-down list from the top right corner.
