The simulated camera (video) type only supports mp4 format.
Simulated cameras allow the use of a video file as a video source. When ANSVIS processes video files for AI inferencing, it takes time to decode image frames from the video. The following factors may impact the speed at which the video is displayed in ANSVIS:
- Video frame rate (FPS)
- Video resolution
- The number of simulated cameras running simultaneously
To upload a simulated camera:
- Click Manage Server Video Files (1)
- Browse to the video file path (2) on ANSVIS Client and upload it to the server storage
- After uploading to server, select the Server video file (3) from the drop-down list
- To verify that the camera has been successfully uploaded, click Test Camera and ensure you can see the preview video on the right-side panel.
- Adjust the capture rate to your need
- Click Save to finish.
