The Preview feature lets you test the event rules before deploying the task. This will help you save more time on troubleshooting and preventing issues during operations.

After saving a rule, click the Preview button (1) to open the Preview dialogue.

To start the rule preview:

• Select image source (1): You can choose between current camera or folder images. If you choose a camera, you need to set the time between images. If you choose folder images, browse to the folder directory to open it
• Change overlay settings (2): you can choose how information is displayed
• Select display type (3): The raw detections option will do detection with all object classes from the model without any rule applied. The event option will do detection based on the configured rule and display its last result in the event image dialogue
• Set detection min score (4)
• Set additional option (5)
• Run event rule preview (6): The Preview Next Image option lets you manually play each camera image and returns detection (if any). The Preview Continuous Option will continuously play all images and detections (if any)
• Pause When Triggered: the Preview Continous will be paused when an event is detected (applied when display type: event (3) is selected)
