Load Training Dataset

After creating a new object detection project, you will come to the next step to upload training dataset for the project

Load Image​

To upload the training dataset

  • Select the folder icon
  • Browse to the dataset directory
  • Press current folder to start loading the dataset into ANSTS

Data Validation​

Once the dataset is uploaded, it must meet specific ANSTS condition for training

On the left side panel, check the Image and Label File dialogue to confirm the dataset has sufficient image and label files. If your dataset doesn't have label files or has label files in different formats, you can use the ANS Labelling Tool for instruction.

Once the dataset is all checked, click Validate Data and ensure the Map File dialogue is all checked. This will generate an ANS_Class.json file (in your dataset folder) that stores the object ID information sent to ANSTS.

Once data is GOOD, press Send Data To Engine for the training phase.

If you modify your dataset folder during this process, please press Re-evaluate folder to refresh the data in ANSTS. After sending data to engine, you cannot make changes to your project's dataset.
